Handgun Level 1

The course includes:
Safety briefing and range commands lesson
Instruction on the basic functioning of semi autos and revolvers
High instructor to student ratio for close personal instruction
Principles of marksmanship
Introduction to ballistics
Laws as they pertain to handguns
Dealing with malfunctions
Emergency procedures
Target analysis
Shooting on a laser simulator
Discussion and paperwork relating to the special authorizations from the CFP
Range Officer instruction
Proper cleaning and maintenance lessons
Fun competitions
and much more
Day one of this course is spent in the comfort of the classroom familiarizing the student with the fundamentals of marksmanship through the use of a laser training simulator. This allows for highest level of content retention and safety and thoroughly prepares the student for the full day of range activities that take place on day two.
We limit our class size to a maximum of 8 students to give the highest level of attention. Handgun Level 1 is an excellent course for anyone wishing to build a solid foundation in the art of handgun shooting.
