Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre. Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre (SPWC) has been in operation for nearly 20 years, since 1990, and became a registered charity on January 1st, 2002. Founder and President Sue Meech is licensed provincially by the Ministry of Natural Resources and federally by Canadian Wildlife Services to provide care and shelter for wildlife. SPWC has provided an incredible level of service to the community on a very limited budget thanks to the tremendous and unwavering dedication of the staff and volunteers.
