PETITION: Save Spruce Grove Gun Club

The Spruce Grove Gun Club (SGGC) has been a safe and integral part of Parkland County for nearly half a century. But a political decision in late 2015 has resulted in the County refusing to renew the Club’s Development Permit – shutting down the facility.

A handful of new residents in the area has complained about noise and safety. The County has looked into these complaints but has acknowledged in writing:

1. There has never been a safety issue at the Range
2. There has never been a noise issue at the Range

We need your help to overturn this decision. Please sign this petition to make your voice heard – asking the County to approve the SGGC Development Permit and allowing for resumed operation at the safest outdoor shooting range in Canada.

Then please send letters or emails to local County officials telling them in your own words why the facility should be re-opened.
