Quick Review of the CZ 85 9mm. I purchased my first hand gun in November 2017, and it is awesome!! The CZ 85 9mm is an amazing pistol for multiple reasons:
1) It is ambidextrous
2) it’s not a .22
3) feels leveled in my hand, even weight distribution, and not barrel heavy.
4) not much recoil(I am female, kind of wimpy lol)
5) feild stripping is easy, pin comes out smooth, and easily put together.
6) have shot 600 rounds, and has never jammed. Reloads to High quality rounds.
Over the course of 2 weeks I pondered over purchasing the Grand Power X-Calibur, it was a difficult decision.
You can watch me shooting it at the range Click Here
The CZ is sleek, classic, and rely comfortable in my hand. It feels like an extension of my arm. To be honest I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with either guns, but a Pistol that has an amazing reputation has lived up to its name above and beyond.
When I purchased the CZ it came with 2 magazines, a cleaning kit, and a lock.
My hands form on the gun to create an even hold so that when I shoot it does not feel as if it is moving in my hand. Don’t get me wrong….I’m still a horrible shot as I have only ever owned a pistol, and have shot it more then any of the rifles I have used in my lifetime.
I do have one issue with it, and it is minor. When sliding the mag in it doesn’t always go into battery, needs a hard smack. This smack sometimes causes me to pinch the side of my pinky which then causes a blood blister that is really painful (most likely a me problem lol).
Since I have purchased this gun I have put aftermarket grips on it. I was given the grips for Christmas because I want to custom paint my gun Purple and splatter it lime green so it looks like the Joker. The factory grips were black plastic, the custom grips are CNC machined aluminum. No current date for a paint job, but will be soon.
Overall I love the function, quality, performance, and weight distribution of the CZ 85, 9mm pistol. It is a gun I will have forever, and recommend to everyone I meet.
