Anti-Gunners Exploit Tragic Shooting in Colorado

In today’s Senate hearing, anti-gunners are attempting to exploit the tragic shooting in Colorado to restrict your Second Amendment rights.

Of course, anti-gunners will hide the fact that the shooting took place at a grocery store whose corporate policy restricts the rights of law-abiding citizens to bear arms in Boulder, Colorado.

Not only that, Breitbart reports, “Colorado is one of the few states in the Union that has the Democrats’ highly desired universal background check gun controls.”

That’s why we need your help cutting through the anti-gunners’ lies and hysteria. We need to flood every Senator’s inbox, telling them to VOTE NO on gun control, which would only disarm law-abiding citizens and keep guns in the hands of evil-doers.

Anti-gunners will try to use the shooting in Colorado as justification to rally behind Dianne Feinstein’s bill to ban 205 different types of so-called “assault weapons.”

The Senate will also take this moment to consider two anti-gun bills that have already passed the House – H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446.

H.R. 8 would require background checks for every time you “transfer” your gun to anyone, even if you hand it to a neighbor for as little as one second.

For example, if you hand (or “transfer”) a firearm to your son-in-law because you hear a noise in your house in the middle of the night – and it turns out to be a false alarm – you’re a criminal.

H.R. 1446 could indefinitely delay the sale of a firearm.

At a time when violence is surging in major cities across America, the government wants to make it as difficult as possible for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves.
