Injunction Dismissed

We are disappointed but not surprised at the Federal Court’s decision. We understand that the burden of proof in injunction applications are considerably higher than in the main application. We look forward to representing the interests of gun owners in CCFR vs Canada.

As we’ve said, it’s very rare to get an injunction against legislation (and the actions of government), but our community can count on the CCFR to fight every battle regardless if it looks like an easy win or not. #NeverGiveIn #TeamCCFR

The CCFR isn’t one to shy away from a fight. And we’ve got plenty of fight left in us.

This is disappointing, for sure. But this is nowhere near over. In fact, this is only the beginning. this case will likely end up in the Supreme Court of Canada. Stay tuned…

Our General Counsel, Michael Loberg will have a full briefing on this coming your way shortly.
